I was OBSESSED with this album as a teenager and the transitions between a lot of songs are so seamless. :)

yoh listened to this album over n over n over today—wtf,, so damn good; feels like listening to a mix coz each song is soo different but in a good way?? like wow what an album. also feels like one of those records that you have to listen to from start to finish or uu run the risk of vanilla-ing the tracks you like,, feels better when they just come on?? idk but wow i love this so much—the outro??!! the length of the songs is also so deliciously long when it needs to be. this shit feel like it was made a long time ago and was ahead of its time type beat but nah 2021. anyway goood stuff—thank you sm people of PI :3 x

i already posted about this on my music-centric public finsta/meme insta account (@valleygirl5678 as well if ya wanna follow 😛) but wow this album might be one of my faves of the year. after a first listen of a new album i usually dont feel the urge to listen again until at least the next day because i usually need time to let the first listen sort of settle in before going back to it. but this album... like i immediately had the urge to listen again i craved it (a feeling i have honestly not had with a new album since maybe magdalena bay's 'imaginal disk' from last year???) but ya listen to this album u will not regret it!!! such an easy listen but also quite experimental for a rock album which is great its the perfect combo 🤍

This is the only thing that keeps me sane at work. It's so slow right now. If anyone is wondering why I've posted like 9 times today.

I love doing collages, cuz all you really need are magazine cutouts and glue. There's a very low barrier to entry, skill-wise AND supply-wise, unlike painting. Digital collages are fun too, but I try to have less screentime by doing the paper ones. If I want to re-use pieces instead of gluing them down permanently, sometimes I'll just take a picture of the current arrangement to immortalize it, and then start over on a new composition. That way, I don't have to constantly buy new magazines to get new cutouts. This is one of my favorite ones I've done so far:

if you have a job that lets u read in ur downtime, they're a great portable option that doesn't require you to invest full focus like you would if you cracked a novel open on the clock! plus they are cheap & open you up to all sorts of niche content you wouldn't encounter otherwise :)
