I think being a barista (at a nice shop, not like Starbucks shit) is probably the best job to ever exist Maybe it’s just where I work, but it is such a joy to come to work each day. Free coffee, good conversations with customers, wonderful cool coworkers, making drinks and listening to music all day. I’m legit sitting here sipping a latte and doing a crossword puzzle as Elizabeth Cotten plays in the background. What could be better?
I’m applying to grad school and moving to a new city at the end of the summer, so I’m savoring and romanticizing this job while I can♥️
