stop keeping different books for different things! embrace having an everything journal, sketchbook, diary, notebook, and planner! Put it all in one book and embrace chaos.
I got myself in a pickle by having multiple journals/notebooks dedicated to specific purposes. I ended up not writing in any of them because they were never nearby when I needed them. So now I have one. If I want to write, it goes in here. If I want to scrapbook, it goes in here. If I want to sketch, it goes in here. Not as ecclectic as I hoped at the moment (it's mostly journaling and creative writing), but the point is these pages have no expectations.
This is my everything notebook where I’ve written to-do lists, thumbnail sketches, random thoughts, doodles of pretty people and so on. It has dividers with pockets too (score!!). I keep trying to use a planner but I always come back to this notebook specifically.

if u are a perfectionist and would like to have space to be messy and just glue things together to document moments
you should definitely get yourself a small notebook and watch him getting chunkier
it made me observe my surroundings better cuz now im constantly looking for things i can put here.
I used to be a “fry anywhere” typa guy… but with the recent tariffs and increased prices everywhere, fries just aren’t hitting as hard. Got some pretty nasty fries recently that made me realize the errors of my ways.
It’s moderately alarming for her, but overall entertaining. She did tell me that she couldn’t look at me anymore a few times, but I think it’s out of love.
