I love Bob Dylan, just a man and his guitar (and harmonica) singing silly little folk songs. He’s a wonderful poet. His guitar playing isn't technical, but it tells a story. his nasally and whiny vocals can be a huge turn off for people, but it can grow on you. I would recommend these songs: for his storytelling and poetry: All Along The Watchtower A Hard Rains A-Gonna fall It’s Alright Ma (I’m only bleeding) Masters of War For his guitar (and harmonica) playing: Subterranean Homesick Blues Mr Tambourine Man Bob Dylan’s Blues Its a unique sound that can either grow on you or blow right past you! just got to have an ear for it :)

So comfy. Feels like being under a warm blanket and reading a fun book about legends and stories of the old west, heroes and horses. The albums John Wesley Harding through Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid. Favorite songs: The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest, Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You, Days of ‘49, If Not For You (George Harrison also did a great version of this!)

“Boots of Spanish” from The Times They Are A-Changin’ One thing I’ve realized about Bob Dylan is that you can listen to an album many times, and the songs will impact you differently each time you revisit them. Boots of Spanish Leather, man. Such a great love/break-up song. Inarguably, some of his best protest-era songs are on this album, but the one that hit me the most was Bob sulking in heartbreak..
