I know I’m never gonna change the mind of the person I’m arguing with I just use them as an outlet for my frustrations with consumerism and celebrity worship or whatever else. Then I stalk their profile and realize they’re a 13 year old delusional stan and I’m wasting my time on earth.

i am such a huge fan of arguing online because there are actually one million silly stupid people out there that believe everything they see. most recent arguments were against people who said that tretinoin will change your ‘skin genetics’ to give you better skin (false) and that drinking bubble tea every day is okay for you (you will get gout)

actually just going on tiktok and getting mad about trivial things other people say

this guy just said that the migos song bad and boujee reminded him of summer 2016 and i literally said “what are you talking about” out loud to myself alone in my apartment in solitude with no one around. that song is so clearly spring 2017 i have no idea what fucking wavelength you’re on man. actually i don’t recommend this it’s bad for the brain which is why i’m only allowed 15 minutes of tiktok a week

Being a short-form video hater

I loathe short-form videos (tik-tok, IG reels, etc.). Every time I'm lured into watching one, I feel like I'm stuck in an episode of black mirror or starring in a clockwork orange. I can feel my attention span getting chiseled away with every vacuous second - and don't even get me started on the endless echo of copies and references. Okay, I'm done with my old person rant now.
