Went to the 12 Tonar record store to peruse the racks and saw a poster for this concert in a high school gym. Part of why I was so enamored with Iceland and made the trip was because of the ethereal music that comes from the island, and was absolutely obsessed with the bands featured in the documentary “Screaming Masterpiece”. To this day, Amiina is one of my favorite bands and I’ll never forget the sight of a very pregnant musician playing a saw on that tiny stage.
