This song always used to play at my single-motherās workplace, where I spent a lot of time as a wee gal. This song used to make me transcend and still does tbh. I feel so cool when Iām listening, like Iām walking Rick Owens during FFW. I spent a lot of time not knowing this song because it would make me physically ill when I heard it, the amount of nostalgia it would elicit in me. Life is too short to be weighed down by an appreciation of the past, look at it lovingly and with hope for an even better future.
