I’ve grown my hair out 8 inches in the past year thanks to this combo. The Dip shampoo made me a solid shampoo believer and the Everpure conditioner is an olaplex dupe at a great price point.

my hair and scalp are great now bc of this! they also have a clarifying one. added bonus is now i have extra space for liquids when traveling lol i also liked the l’oreal everpure shampoo in the past. i’m still figuring out a good conditioner lol if you don’t already i’d recommend figuring out your hair type and then seeing what kinds of things you need in a shampoo. eg i have low porosity hair so i now avoid products with a lot of oils

olaplex is great and all, but this is 1/4 of the price and works wonders. smells lovely, and it has seriously helped thicken and strengthen my wispy hair. i get this at the drug store

Sorry this is so long 😅
I have straight, fine hair and I currently use the Herbal Essences rose hip shampoo. It's really great at adding shine and making my hair smooth and soft (also smells yummy 😋). I've also used the Maui Moisture lightweight hydration shampoo (the pink bottle) and liked it.
Another thing that has been a game-changer for my hair is double shampooing! Because my hair is so straight and fine, it gets oily very quickly. I discovered double shampooing recently (which is just shampooing twice) and it gives my hair a little volume and it can last longer without looking greasy. I do every other day!
For conditioners/leave-ins I highly recommend anything with jojoba oil! My hair LOVES it and since I'm assuming we have similar hair types yours might love it too.
This is an add-on but the Tsubaki Fino hair mask is affordable and makes my hair sooooo shiny!

The other day I overheard a young skater tell their friends, “if you can’t be good, be safe!”

I love this -- it sounds good in Spanish ("cuidate") too. Maybe it's just age, but I've become fond of telling people to "be good." It's intentionally vague -- it could just be a grammatically poor version of "be well" Or it could be a suggestion to behave yourself (ish). It doesn't explain itself and that's my favorite part.

It might be the most middle-aged thing I’ve ever done, but I joined a dragon boat paddling team with a bunch of teachers and I’m obsessed. The boats look like carousel animals! So many magical things about paddling in sync with 30 other people, being out on the water, seeing eagles and blue herons, plus a core workout as good as the Pilates reformer. It’s the freaking best!
