the silent hill soundtrack is bomb, the slitterhead soundtrack is even more bomb (both made by akira yamaoka my beloved) they lean towards rock a little more tho so they'd be perfect if that's smth u can focus through :) i also like snoopy jazz when i'm in the mood for smth more lighthearted, or the soundtrack from neo the world ends with you bc it's so goofy (in the early 2000's americanized japanese hiphop genre) and the lyrics never fail to make me laugh (good thing to uplift u through studying)
