THE holy month.
Some countries already started it today some will tomorrow (like morocco).
During Ramadan we don’t just fast from food and water but we have to be well mannered and try our best to be closer to Allah (God).
From sunrise to sunset, no water, no food, no smoking, avoiding cursing, avoiding “sexual” music and film or any kind of content, no couples are allowed unless it’s marriage (since being in a relationship outside of marriage is Harram *forbidden*), no sexual encounters whatsoever.
Good manners, helping the poor, reading the Quran, praying, doing the good deeds.
Showering and keeping a good hygiene is a must.

I get my 5 dailies in everyday. I don’t fast anymore during the month of Ramadan because heart condition and that’s okay. If I’m carrying cash and I encounter someone living on the street, they just hit a lick. I am a monotheist and I believe that the Prophet Mohammad is the final Abrahamic Prophet. I’m def tryna gotta to 🕋Mecca. These are the five pillars of Islam. I remember one Spring in college I tripped so hard I understood atheism and tried it on. That lasted about two seasons but I put my Islam coat back on in the Winter.

If there is one style that literally calms me is stippling.
The endless dots, the slow process, the nuance effect, the final results.
I just love it and appreciate it even more when i spend hours/days to finish one.

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today.
Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :(
Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece.
Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
