leigh-anne: No hard feelings

really, really nice and fun pop/r&b. think it’s always interesting to see how artists step into their own post-group and think she’s taking an interesting route, especially after being in a UK pop outfit. voice feels really british r&b to me. like a voice you could hear over a grime tune even. would love to see her and kaytranada link up.

KWN, LAUREN DUFFUS, MAHALIA, SASHA KEABLE, BAMBII

i’ve been rinsing these songs/albums like no ones business. KWN‘s “with all due respect“ is filled with 90s/early 2000s inspired R&B hits that have a modern lesbian twist ❤️‍🔥. Lauren Duffus makes music to soundtrack my dreams (.) it’s grungy, deconstructed, and honest. i’ve been listening to her music for a while. her latest releases are very special to me & i think everyone should become a Lauren Duffus fan. Mahalia makes music to smile to I always dance+sing along. different type of love & instructions are my fave songs by her. Sasha Keable aka the Queen🇬🇧🇨🇴. to be honest i’ve listened to every song she’s put out an embarrassing amount of times. the sound of her voice is unforgettable, i can’t rememner the last time we had a voice like this in music and i’m anticipating her album …counting the days. BAMBII I love this album it’s so cohesive and refreshing its new to my rinse list but i’m already obsessed with the production.
