bee1000 6 years of library work, 3 years teaching piano/flute/songwriting, writing rlly cute song commissions, some freelance social media marketing and web design, being cool and fun to hang out with, being able to do like a REALLY convincing mouth trumpet, can make really good hot chocolate, etc.

PEOPLE WANT TO HIRE PEOPLE THEY KNOW AND LIKE
Meet people in person. your online presence is a little bonus mini existence to supplement your real life existence. i got every job ive ever had because i met the person hiring or i was recommended by an employee. spending hours on indeed and sending 1000 emails might work, but in the end its all about who you know. Go to events where youre likely to meet people you could work with. Make friends. let them get familiar with what you do. Ask if they need your services or if they know anyone who does. Theres no shortcut to get people to like you. Would you hire a stranger via email over someone your friend chris recommends? Probably not.
