maybe if i stayed places longer but for me it’s been a combination of, it feels gross putting my stuff in the drawers; also some of my traveling is international so there isn’t even that option in small b&b/boutique hotels, plus when i’m staying somewhere just a few nights before going elsewhere it’s a fuss; and why spend extra time packing/unpacking when i could spend that time doing…

i’ll always take all of my makeup and washbag goods out of my suitcase to put on the dresser, then i’ll hang any dresses that need hanging, everything else stays in the suitcase.

🛍i’m moving out soon and i’ve been in a giant empty house all summer and it has successfully driven me insane multiple times, and i’m still in the process of throwing things out day by day so every day the space i’ve known for three years is only getting emptier
so i started leaving clean laundry in a little pile, unread new yorkers in a different pile, a stuffed animal to be put in vacuum bag but rn just sits on top of an opened and packed suitcase full of stuff, a bag of things to be thrown out right besides my bed, and i‘m proud to say that my room has never looked messier
this is the one time that i’m sure somehow the mess is helping my mental health instead of making it worse

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
