Ok I haven’t been using this long enough yet to see “results” necessarily but after getting so fed up with my previous skincare routine, giving up and doing literally nothing except wash my face for like 6 months, and then emerging from winter with a need for a moisturizer… insta influenced me and I ordered this and it’s actually really lovely. Feels very hydrating without being greasy, a little goes a long way but it also doesn’t feel dense or heavy, and I love the scent (which might turn off some people because it’s herbal in the rosemary-esque direction, but I find it really relaxing and refreshing). Anyways… as someone who isn’t a skincare expert but did try an embarrassing number of products from Beautycounter, Biossance, Naturium, Glow Recipe, and random others, this one’s my favorite out of any that I’ve ever used.

Taking care of my skin has boosted my confidence more than anything ever has. Right now my nighttime routine is wash my face with Bobbi Brown soothing cleansing oil, curolgy, retinal, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, the ole henrikson undereye cream, and triple antibiotic ointment. My morning routine is washing my face with Sonya Dakar gentle facial milk cleanser, spray my face with Osea sea mineral mist, Osea hyaluronic sea serum, Sonya Dakar nano hydrator moisturizer and Sonya Dakar SPF 30. If I go outside a lot I use 50 spf. I had cystic acne when I was younger and Curology really changed my skin. It completely cleared it up. I’m so grateful for it. When I was younger I tried absolutely everything. Salt water, mouth wash, that nuetrogena face wash with the micro plastics in it. Nothing really worked until Curology. I also take Tri-Sprintec birth control because it is the most effective at clearing your skin. If I have a break out I take Doxycycline which is an antibiotic that stops acne from forming. It’s been a lot of work and not easy but I’m so happy I did it. I love face masks too. My favorite is Blue Tansy from Herbivore. It’s a nice exfoliator that really changes your skin. I notice a big difference with it. I also love sheet masks. Innis Free has my favorites. They just feel so effective to me. A nice evening to me is staying in and taking care of my skin. I love to steam my face, do an exfoliating face mask, then a pore cleaning one and then a moisturizing one. Then I do an eye mask and all of my skincare steps. It feels so good and I look amazing when I wake up.

it depends on your needs but U beauty bioactive barrier cream (something like that) or it’s new skin oil but use these intermittently it’s expensive but it’s one of my favorite skincare brands
If you want a retinol I love medik8s crystal retinal the number 1 level doesn’t make my skin wanna die

i had a sweet lady ask me what i use on my face because i was “glowing” hehe which i thought was adorable and it’s not even a whole lot. this is just my skincare, not any makeup i put on, which honestly isn’t a long list either.
in the mornings:
• cerave acne control cleanser
• dickinson witch hazel toner
• peach slices snail rescue toner
• ren vitamin c gel cream
• ponds face lotion
before bed:
• cerave acne control cleanser again
• witch hazel toner again
• kat burki retin-c treatment complex (sometimes in the mornings too)
• ponds face lotion again
some of these products i got from ipsy but really do like and will probably purchase again. đź©·

bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol
Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32!
