Find the manual for the sewing machine online so you know what features it has, then just go one project at a time. I found it most helpful to learn by doing- slowly acquiring skills as I went along instead of reading or watching all encompassing explanations. I would learn just enough to like, take in the waistband or hem a shirt how I wanted, and after a while learned the names for those stitches or technique. keep it fun and intuitive!
got too excited by this ask - i taught myself to tailor starting from childhood, sewing anything and everything by hand. such a rewarding skill to have! have fun!!
