This song was my childhood. It would start playing on the car speakers and everyone in the car would just start singing along. So thinking about that just makes it super nostalgic to me.
To be honest, I didn't even know this song was a cover until I was maybe 13? Either way, I am convinced that the cover is better.

A lot of people don't know that the Ellie Goulding one is technically a cover and you can't listen to the Active Child one anywhere but YouTube anymore (at least not in Zimbabwe or South Africa). But its so good that every time I have changed phones or laptops since I was a teenager, I have 1) Searched my cloud storage or 2) Made my older sisters look through their hard drives and cloud storage for the copy that one of them bought on itunes a decade ago. That's how serious this song is for me. I recently watched the music video for the first time in a while and now I am remembering how obsessed I was with this song.

Soda in glass bottles is just top tier and really pretty in my opinion. I've started buying them whenever I come across them and collect the bottlecaps. Because who knows... maybe we'll need them incase of nuclear warfare. (Stupid fallout ref)
Jokes aside though, glass bottles bring me so much joy. They're fun to open and also cool for collecting some caps!

This is one of the books which has genuinely changed my life and altered my thinking. I can't even begin how good it is and how well it deals with trauma in writing. AUGHHH IT'S SO GOOD.
