i wish people treated clubs like discos. i love proper disco dancing, hips swaying, holding hands and shoulders and connecting with people, i think it’s so precious. i’m sick and tired of awkward head bopping and stepping from side to side
DJs have been getting a lotta flack lately cuz it seems like everyone’s a DJ but the people wanna dance!!! a good DJ creates such a sense of community and imo we need that now more than ever. so yeah gas up ur local DJs, go to their events with ur friends, and DANCE Y’ALL
I went out dancing with my cousin in her 40s (I’m in my 20s) in a city where no one knew us. so nice not worrying about taking pictures for instagram of worrying about how good we looked dancing. it was just fun and free. love dancing and love clubbing.
thinking of hosting a tarts and vicars party for my 19th (it’s ages away but i just love a themed party i do) in honour of my girl bridget jones x (why did we stop doing fun themes like these and can we invent more fun party themes please)
i love when comedians are ACTUALLY funny rather than just making fun of women/people of the lgbtq+ community/people of colour/people with disabilities/any minority ever. just give us a fart joke !!! farts are funny !!! discrimination is not !!!
