i am incredibly obsessed with the vulnerability, absurdity and sheer raw emotion involved in artaudian theatre. the amount of hard work that goes into gathering the emotional capacity to perform in this style is astounding and the more i look into it the more i find artaud may possibly be taking over berkoff as my favourite theatre practitioner.
the orchestra tuning, red lights on the red main drape, the cast feeding off the audience energy, being close enough to see every facial expression. UGH god i love theatre

i love when comedians are ACTUALLY funny rather than just making fun of women/people of the lgbtq+ community/people of colour/people with disabilities/any minority ever. just give us a fart joke !!! farts are funny !!! discrimination is not !!!
