had at least 3 birthdays here when I was a kid. it was a massive subterranean mars-themed restaurant with an elevator that looked and felt like a rocket ship (even though it only actually went 2 floors down). pretty sure they turned it it into din tai fung.

Shanghai time in midtown manhattan
Ate the pork soup dumplings here before my knee popped out of its socket in a Russian martial arts class. Worth it. I will be back to both establishments next week.
