I’m often hit with the deadly combination of:
1. Living in a major city when I grew up in a more rural area
2. Spending all my time listening/watching/doomscrolling as opposed to the massive amount of time you spend as a kid doing NOTHING but sitting around and taking in the environment.
Point being, yeah, I miss the sounds of the nature around my childhood home. Mourning doves and bugs at night! Love those guys miss hearing them.
