Honestly no idea why I find this YouTube channel so comfortable to watch. It's really nicely produced and fun. Ideal watch right before bed. Warning: May send you down a rabbit hole that ends with you buying £10 tins of sardines from a very nice man in Borough market. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rymwqxBkxus

I love finding channels like this! The “oh, I didn’t think I’d be interested in this topic *at all*, but your knowledge and sincere passion in covering it is so informative and so endearing” why not learn something new about something new (:

I found this youtube channel recently and it's just a guy reviewing canned fish... Idk how to explain it but it's just so good, I've been eating canned fish and have gained an appreciation for them. I saw someone say this channel is like being an alien and having food explained to you and yeah that's spot on.

John Locker is a man of the sea and a true hero of mine. Living in Cornwall, England with his wife Hannah and son James, John has a youtube channel to document his damn near daily coastal foraging and fishing expeditions. In his cute British accent with the pristine backdrop of Cornwall's beautiful beaches, John shows you how to lure razor clams from the sand using salt, locate all sorts of sneaky crustaceans and how to harvest oysters and other bivalves in the most sustainable way. Each episode usually culminates with John and his family cooking their bounty over open fire on the beach, inspiring both mouthwatering envy and awe. This is by far my favorite youtube channel and whether you're into coastal foraging or not, I'm sure you'll find John's wholesome videos captivating, educational and extremely heartwarming. Pro tip: John's coastal foraging videos are a lot more exciting than his fishing videos (though those are fun too). John and his wife are both good follows on IG as well (@thefishlocker & @lockerhannah).

i randomly found this channel on youtube and this guys videos are so good. he does like aquascaping and makes a lot of self sustaining tanks but the way he edits and shoots the videos is very visually pleasing and entertaining. he only has a couple of videos but i recommend giving them a watch! even if ur not into fish tanks!

Made a WhatsApp group with all my film friends in it and have been using it coordinate going to screenings. It's so much fun! There's loads of little independent screenings happening where I live and some very good independent cinemas, but even if all you have is a TV you should start a film club too. This evening I'm off to an old pub that's been converted into an events space to watch The Garden by Derek Jarman 😎

I've been really interested in silver casting for ages and finally managed to get a place on a carving and casting course at my local jewellery school. It's been an absolute blast, and as someone who's bad at making time to do creative stuff, having something timeboxed in that I've already paid for makes a huge difference. I was also for a long time adamant that the only thing I needed to pick up new skills was YouTube and some perseverance, I was absolutely wrong, there's nothing better than having an expert nearby and all the right tools on hand to make learning a new skill less painful. So take a class! Learn something new! Apply your innate ability to create beautiful things! Pictured: The two rings I've made so far, one was cast from a design I sculpted in blender and then 3d printed. I love it's lil' face 😊
