Never watched this until now. Very surprised this is not really considered apart of the queer canon. Really sad and beautiful film with incredible editing, soundtrack, dp work, and performances. Seems like the director was a one hit wonder, as this was his only acclaimed film. Highly recommending watching with friends. Really captures how cold and uninviting New York can be, especially if youβre new to it.
