Actually very fun and effective. I recently created a group with friends and we don't only use for logging gym routines but any exercise we do like running, or fights and dance. The vibe is not competing, but the joy of logging and writing about the routine. We didn't like that it forces to add a picture to every log so we have been using movie posters that embody the feeling of that exercise.

other than PI.FYI (and letterboxd) of course… how we feel as someone who isn't the best at using words to express her feelings to someone verbally, i really enjoy using this app to log my emotions and subtly sharing it to the two people in my friends list collective intended to be a safe space for the lgbtq+ community, it’s not just a social media app. there’s no need to maintain a following or aesthetic, and it’s place to share your life with the intentions of making connections paired i haven’t used many couples apps, but i love how interactive this one is. everyday, you either answer a question or take a quiz with your partner and as scary as it can be being honest with some really personal questions, it’s fun learning about one another. it also keeps a streak as an incentive to do it daily, which i appreciate with my goldfish memory lapse its literally a film camera on your phone and you get to wait for your photos to develop. i love an affordable film photography simulator

somewhat evil vibe, UI is nice (unlike the health/fitness/sleep app all my homies hate the health/fitness/sleep app), i will probably become addicted to it like everything else on this stupid phone

it's a beautiful place to tap and log activities for data on yourself. in the non-premium version you can track up to three habits, so i love to tap miles ran, cigarettes smoked, and times i've cried. i think it's important how different all three subjects are and i like to keep the skew between them as abstract as possible.

One of the things I like the most about Pi.fyi and the current scale of users is that it's still noticeable when a rec was inspired by another. Sometimes the rec directly mentions the other, but other times you can kinda assume that reading an especific thing here triggered a memory or an ideia. It's very cute and interesting to notice the small influences interacting with other humans online can have.

I know there are days when you are so tired, or maybe you made a big meal for friends and family or you spent the afternoon meal prepping and now you have to clean like five pots and a tray, but be brave!!! (my inner monologue) Don't force your future self to wake up to a bunch of dirty dishes. It will keep your mind full because you will be constantly reminding yourself to clean that up.
