make an extremely niche pinterest board

I have a Specific Nostalgic Things Pinterest board of things I had/remember. This is a fun and creative exercise where you can cherry pick aesthetic representations of particular places you loved, things you had (or wanted but didn't have), or times wished you could relive again. Rediscovering things you'd forgotten about is also very fun! You are still that person, in the same physical body, so surprise and delight them!!

Mirror to the soul?

to me, pinterest captures abstract concepts and feelings like no other. ive literally even used it as a tool to process my emotions. it’s so so special to me, and a board that ive been adding to for quite a while now is “alone with me” (hyperlinked). this board is about my unattainable dream to live on an isolated island in a little lighthouse. lets be friends on pinterest, im so eager to see yours as well :)

using pinterest as a media diary

i am not new to pinterest but i only ever use it to browse through and save "inspo" for arts, design, aesthetics, etc. and i have never used it to post my own photos, that is until a few days ago. i still save photos/art for inspo but i like how the interface makes your photos look more fluid. instagram's square design looks too clinical, and limits the dimensions of photos and videos you could upload, unlike on pinterest where you could have combinations of media in varying sizes, and they fit in a puzzle kind of way, the feed looks much more relaxed and personalized.

Anti-rec: parents saying “it gets worse when you’re older.”

When did it become universally acceptable to promote dread in your children? Boooooo ! That’s loser behavior, time inherently promises you bad AND GOOD times. You could say so many things, but instead you put your self loathing about your life onto your children. Stop doing that !
