Needed to do laundry…

I’ve been trying to wear like actual clothes around the house lately because i like to keep the curtains open at my big picture window which faces the street. I ran out of easy lazy outfits so I wore: * vintage Canned Heat World Boogie Tour T-shirt (it was my mom’s best friend’s shirt and it’s one of the only T-shirts I own and wear… pictured is a picture I found of it on poshmark but it’s not mine I was too lazy to take a picture lol…) * 7 for All Mankind high waisted olive green crepey skinny pants with elasticated waist and ankles? I don’t know how to describe these they are not quite a jogger but they’re very comfortable cute and easy to move around in

The same things i wear every fall whalebutt

Tees, sweaters, turtlenecks Jean jacket adorned with patches that I’ll probably die in Wide legged jeans I cropped Docs + above ankle heeled boots Some new things I acquired tho and am excited to try: Loafers Flare jeans that make me feel cunty in the best way Some looser fitting jeans that I normally wouldn’t go for because I’m short but these ones work! I’m on a mission to thrift jeans of every color, so that’ll add some fun to my autumn wardrobe as well 💃 I seem to have no full body pictures of myself since like, 2020 to show how I style any of this, but you probably can picture it pretty easily

WHY THO?

Why not go through the process of blending those images yourself? Why not use process as an experiment? Why AI? What part are you playing? What makes it yours? I think AI is impersonal. I think it is unethical when it has relied on the theft of actual people’s actual physical (and because of the nature of art, often time emotional) labor. I also think it is unnecessary in creating art. I also think the environmental impacts are atrocious. I also think AI’s biggest supporters are being maliciously ignorant because it’s a fun new toy. Is it ease? Is it efficiency? People talk about accessibility as if children don’t use crayons and stickers! As if graffiti artists don’t use postal labels as sticker, as if sand mandalas don’t exist, as if cardboard and tape aren’t in over abundance.

Tbh, i mostly hate the re-rec feature

Maybe this isn’t so much a fix for staff, but I feel like the reposting of things has gotten a bit lame. I don’t want the “Everyone” feed to be the same post 20 times with nothing added, especially when the thing being re-rec’d isn’t even a real reccomendation in the first place. I like this app because it is different than Instagram and Twitter and tumblr and the like. I feel like people are trying to interact similarly to those other apps here. I feel like we are all drifting back into creating the same social media AGAIN. My vote would be to remove the feature entirely, but I see how it can be used thoughtfully
