The delivery of literally every WORD of this is so unexpected and impactful! You can see him choose to avoid the usual beats and pacing and it’s fucking awesome!!!!
I think it is so outrageous, it’s all so campy it makes me giggle. Bateman is such a silly character, I can’t see how anyone really looks to him as a model of peak masculinity.
bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol
Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32!
