acknowledging that you don’t have it together is the first step to fixing your problem your wellbeing is not linear, it fluctuates between low and high points. recognizing that you are temporarily at a low point in your life and that it will pass helps a lot. also trying to find the root cause of why you feel that way and taking action helps prevent you being at a low point for a while idk

something about coming to terms with the fact i’m not just sad or just tired, but depressed, when i’m sinking into depressive episodes has helped me a lot. i used to put so much blame on myself. but seeing it as an objective chemical imbalance has started getting me through it. i don’t feel this way because i deserve to! it is much more scientific than that 🧘‍♀️

i noticed i was feeling sad today but instead of going into crisis mode about it i am just acknowledging it and trusting that it will pass because my emotions don’t say anything about the current state of reality or who i am

i have never realized how insane i could become when i’m triggered, i’m glad for everything i went through and i love that i’m taking things as if they’re happening for me not to me so i know what parts of me needs more work. STEP OUT OF THE VICTIM’S MENTALITY
