some years ago the canadian government made the beautiful decision to put into law that broadcasters must have a certain percentage of canadian content (cancon) streamed daily… since then we have had a lovely little bubble of nice canadian music that is rarely known once the border has been crossed.
i’m by no means a patriot & believe nationalism is a plague but cancon is sooo good
