Okay so I RARELY game. My game library is so small because I am sooo picky. Because of this I'm pretty late to finding this game - my partner told me it was super popular a few years ago(?)
But DAVE THE DIVER. It somehow checks every single box I have. Deep sea exploration, fishing, running a restaurant, a FARMING sideplot??
It's been at the top of my list of favorite media to consume recently. Listen I just love collecting things and exploring and discovering new things.
I haven't finished the game but my god. It's so pretty and lovely and fun.

even though the format is repetitive the gameplay does not get tiring at all. its maybe a bit grindy but not nearly as bad as early game stardew. its the nice kind of grind that lets you take your mind off the day.
ive spent hours and hours on this stupid game its a delight and i havent regretted it for a second (:

this game is immaculate vibes bc there’s so much love in it. the music and sound effects might be my favorite part. harvesting blueberries!!! mining, socializing, fishing…yes.

Might seem like a very normal farming game but there are so many gems within the game! Concernedape is probably the most dedicated game developer ever 💖
