i mean… ramen, pho, olive garden tuscan, butternut squash, crab and quail egg, italian sausage, curry, french onion… heartwarming and cherished memories. would love to hear about all your soups
omg!!! my friends and i recently had a ”soup party” where we all made our favorite soup for everyone to try! we realized our soups spoke so much to each of our personalities. it was the sweetest and most delicious night.
the best kind of move you can make is a soup move. today I made lentil kale soup that’s been in my repertoire since 2017. a true classic for the winter rotation
onion
garam masala
lentils
kale
diced tomatoes
vegetable stock
oh my god. for years I thought I hated soup--the celery and carrots in chicken noodle have never done it for me. I believed all soup could ever be was the lukewarm mush from the inside of a Campbells can or, slightly more preferably, Panera tomato bisque.
since moving out I have delved into the wonderful world of stews; of "cream ofs;" of broths. you mean to tell me this entire time I could have been meeting my protein requirements by sipping on bone broth from a mug? dirtying only one pan after pureeing everything in my fridge?
don't even get me started on curry.
i have 200,000 plays on soundcloud because i made an ambient track when i was 15 and clickbait titled it "sex noises". dozens of comments going "wheres the sex". what a strange impact to have made on the world and i am locked out of the account forever
