I saw the Nosferatu by myself in a historic movie theater a block away from my house 9PM on a Thursday night. There were only like 4 other people there, it was a glorious experience
i used to do this all the time and i simply must get back into it!! date yourself!
In the netherlands theres this thing called Cineville, which im subscribed to which lets u go to the movies as much as u want for a monthly fee.. so i go like 2 times a week on my own and i love it
also the best way to meet new people lwk if you happen to sit next to someone :)
i’m only with another person like 20% of the time i’m seeing a movie i love going alone and being completely absorbed in it
solo movie trips is how i got more comfortable being alone with myself and then developed into dinner dates and alone time in local parks too :0)
A lot of the time I find it’s easier to go solo cause I have more time to process my own thoughts, im less likely to be annoyed during the movie, and no one’s gonna bitch to me if they didn’t like it afterwards.

eatgraeps I dragged my family to go see asteroid city when it came out cause I adored it, unfortunately they didn’t share the same enthusiasm and that shit backfired on me.
strongly agree!!! i try to go solo at least once a week. saw i'm still here and companion by myself last week and had the time of my life. perfect combo of solo escapade while still being around people!!!
