I need to thank user chiawase_ and hers Cathy comic strip rec, because it reminded me of a beloved, now inactive, tumblr blog called Kathy Ack.
It combines the Cathy comic strips with the writings of author Kathy Acker, creating a surreal and irreverent collage of texts writen by women reflecting on their minds, bodies, relationships and world views through completely distinct lenses.
All singing must now be howling!!

Also dude I am Forever enamored by the imagery of sissy spacek wearing a coat of pigs blood under a haze of film and that pretty sheen of prom lights. . this screencap in particular feels like goodbye horses coming on, and you just bought a pack of fresh smokes...
I hate that Cause i always wanna save em for a special occasion but I swear that they look at me and beg. American spirits are giving me the eyes and a mental illness is calling my name.

My friends were talking about Pinterest and I logged back into mine after about five years and found it so revolting, but I was kind of sad because I miss creating visual catalogues. then I remembered Tumblr exists and reblogged some quotes and pretty pictures! Taterhole is a gay pornography blog evidently so I am drtaterhole

One of the things I like the most about Pi.fyi and the current scale of users is that it's still noticeable when a rec was inspired by another.
Sometimes the rec directly mentions the other, but other times you can kinda assume that reading an especific thing here triggered a memory or an ideia.
It's very cute and interesting to notice the small influences interacting with other humans online can have.
