Just started reading Decreation by Carson after finishing Wrong Norma, both of which are brilliant. Also on my list is: Bataille - Literature and Evil Deleuze - Kafka and Francis Bacon Freud - Totem and Taboo Marx - Contribution to the critique of political economy Jameson (RIP) - postmodernism Maggie Nelson - The Argonauts Ovid - Amores and last but not least Sillyboy: a novel Also about to receive the Cambridge companion to Deleuze so I’m super keen to read the psychoanalysis and literature chapters.

Not sure if this is too niche, but the other day I met with my professor and we talked about how women tend to express themselves hesitantly, softly. Men tend to be assertive, often bordering on arrogant, when they write. I mean, that’s probably cause women - fem people - have traditionally been socialized in a certain passive manner. Makes me sad sometimes. But not always.
