Davvero Gelato in Lakeside, RVA is my favorite dessert and coffee (yes, you read right) shop in the whole city.
They have new flavors and specials every week and the quality never fails. The flavors are so dynamic and awe-inspiring.
Bonus points for the darling outside seating area that always hosts a lovely breeze and makes me feel like I’m on a beach getaway.
My partner and I always want to try the specials- this week was the Mix-Mix sundae made with ube gelato, jack fruit, sweet red beans, sago, ube whipped cream, and rice crispies- but, we can never resist getting an affogato in addition.
This one was made with their white coffee gelato, but the best one I’ve ever had (not just there, the best one EVER) was made with their pine nut and olive oil gelato.
Fucking orgasmic, fr.
Also, EVERYTHING IS VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE! It’s a dream. ☁️
