I love Sarah Brightman’s voice and grew up listening to the original cast recording of Phantom of the Opera so I was actually looking for that and just stumbled upon her cover of Hooverphonic’s 1998 song.
This song is absolutely insane. Soooo sexy and powerful… I didn’t know Sarah Brightman got down like that!!!!!!! 😳 I’m obsessed. I shared it with my friend and she agreed that it’s one of the most beautiful things she’s ever heard and she said the comment section on YouTube is unusually thoughtful. The whole album is gorgeous but this one is my favorite.

ANYBODY OUT THERE?- ELYSE WEINBERG
I can’t listen to this song in front of other people- the vocals sound like they’re being sang by an animatronic cowgirl. Its a really weird find, but the lyrics are too well written to be cringe, and the melody is realll catchy. Her album Greasepaint Smile is unironically very beautiful though :-)

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time.
