I am going to be doing ECT soon, maybe next week, hopefully. I‘ve tried Ketamine, TMS, 15-20 medications, DBT, CBT (continuous), daily vitamins (omega 3, vitamin D, B6, B12, methylfolate), mushrooms, and am trying to change my diet as I have a moderate to serious binge eating disorder. I might make this a diary of my experience with ECT. So today (and yesterday and the day before), I feel and have felt empty and fatigued and unmotivated and weepy and dizzy and sad. I hope this is temporary.

Hello to anyone interested, today I had my 27th session of bilateral ECT and I wanted to update anyone who’s curious- combined with some medication adjustments, ECT has been life-saving treatment for me 🩷 After taking a 3 month medical leave from work, I’m back in the office and quickly relearning my job from the memory loss lol The memory loss hasn’t been as troubling as I had expected, and I’m finding that my memories are coming back gradually as I space out treatments. I’ll make another post with a detailed description of what each treatment is like. Please reach out if you have ANY questions or hesitations about ECT. It changed my life and gave me a fresh start that I really needed. 🩷

I was posting a lot on here yesterday to pretend I was not super depressed for no reason. I felt bad because I recently did ketamine therapy and it was life changing. But that was the first bad day I had since and it made me sort of anxious. But today I feel more at ease and in tune with life. Gonna maximize this!
