not an educational documentary so might not be what you’re looking for, BUT- it follows this high school culinary class and all the students have different stories of why they want to become chefs and the teacher is a very intense tough-love kinda gal. and they’re all preparing for this competition that awards really big scholarships and it’s just so heartwarming. make me cry like a baby. so so good.

Love this dude who cooks food from old colonial cookbooks with the same methods they would’ve used back then. Informational, calming, pbs vibes. Also the food usually comes out looking so shitty bc 18th century peasants only had like 3 spices available, so that’s pretty funny to me, but on occasion it actually looks very yummy

i wanna say 1-2 times a year, i go through everyone i follow in my socials and unfollow anyone who i dont gaf about. and it reveals a lot about how ive changed and grown as a person. i unfollowed a lot of people from high school and it made me feel like a bad person, but there was just no reason to follow them. don’t wish ill will to anyone, just don’t gaf
and i also changed my phone aesthetic and i enjoy looking at something new :)
now i need to go through almost 9k photos…

a couple of my friends shared some photos from their childhood and high schools days and i started sobbing…like really hard. this was all over text thankfully
what got me was being able to see their facial features in their childhood photos and now every time i look at them i think of them as a little baby and i think about how much i want to hold them and. ugh. i might cry again

i keep as little on me as humanly possible, which has resulted in my downfall haha.
though i am a student so i also carry a backpack with me, which other than my laptop, hard drive, journals, and writing utensils, is mostly trash.
i appreciate a pair of pants with deep pockets
