My favorite movie genre. I’m just going to list a bunch that I love: The Last Seduction, Crash, Secretary, Body Heat, Cat People, Call Me, I could go on and on.
One of the greatest films ever made, and probably the sexiest. The thing that makes it so good, and I think so sexy, is that both the characters are shy weirdo losers. That’s why they’re brilliant and sexy and likeable. You make Mr Grey not a shy weirdo and suddenly he’s gross and creepy and not at all sexy (looking at you 50 shades).
Just finished my most recent read, Cursed Bread by Sophie Mackintosh. The book is described as a sapphic mysteryyy horror???kinda? but it’s mostly just a VERY horny woman who is so down bad for her neighbors. I really loved the way that the author described the mcs emotions, everything was so descriptive and I really felt for her. Other than that it was all just pretty lackluster, an easy short read to bulk up your shelf.
