I love this site so much, it’s the best place to find quality indie games and a lot of them are free. Right now I’m playing a PSX style horror game called Kuro and I’m so creeped out I decided to take a break to write this.
Sometimes itch.io games end up on steam too, so it’s fun to feel like you’re part of this special club that played a game before it was cool

not just the viral youtuber stuff. go on itch.io and really dig. some of this shit is so cool. you can even play a lot of stuff in your browser for free so there's no excuse. these people are making actual art.

Hosts a bunch of indie games made for PC or gameboy emulators! Good paid content that’s cheaper than Steam but also a large free library! Specifically recommend SoulVoid(playable in browser!), AbyssVaulter, and TinyTemple :)

The amount of peak media I’ve ruined for myself by watching clips on youtube is beyond my ability to calculate. I’ve seen the ending of the sopranos and I haven’t watched a single episode. I’ve seen death scenes for characters I didn’t even know the name of yet. I’m a monster
