everyones got AirPods on looking down and absorbed in themselves. It’s amazing seeing people’s faces light up when you smile at them. Sometimes they’re almost incredulous.

I’ve generally just avoided eye contact but I think I need to start implementing this more. It scary to think about doing and I’m not sure why. Maybe just the willingness to put yourself out there and the possibility of rejection?

I agree! I have always been that person that is smiling at people as i’m walking into a shop or through the grocery store. it’s sad that because a lot of people have their ear buds in or trying to avoid eye contact, cause often time i feel like im bothering them but I always do it. it’s an automatic thing for me. It’s a beautiful thing to be kind to a stranger. kindness never hurt anyone :)

I'm generally just very curious as to who everyone is and so I usually always look unless I'm distracted. It blows my mind when people can walk down the street and not look (not in a bad way, i just could never)

something/anything happens in public, and you glance over to the closest/whoever person next to you, and it's a "did you see that" kind of eye contact that incites an emotional response, sometimes leading to a conversation, sometimes just a smile, the kind of connection that can spontaneously turn the mood of a day around and i find that so so fun and beautiful

I just quite like the way my desk looks with the Austin skyline in the background. It's by no means a clean desk, but I like it very much. There is a target bag over the lamp because when I record videos for my YouTube channel, it acts as a light diffuser. And I just never take it off.
