ok ok hear me out -- Notion has genuinely been sooo helpful with organizing my life!! I use a couple of different templates to take notes for classes, keep track of my assignments and tasks, log my guitar practices, and brainstorm creative projects. if you like digital note-taking or just having everything in one place, I can't recommend it enough :)

The notion app and website have been my lifeline recently! before starting adhd meds i organised (losely) myself using a combo of physical written diaries and to do lists in my notes app sometimes and mostly just my brain. It did not work very well. Using Notion to keep everything in one place is great. I’ve attached a photo of my home page with sections for different things I do, but mostly I just use the “general to do” list with a running list of everything pressing from all the categories. As someone who does lots of little things, rather than one like main job or thing, it works well for me because it’s sooooo customisable.

đź“‘I use notion for organising my university work, shopping lists, monthly goals, etc.
For day to day tasks I use Microsoft todo. Not only does it make a really satisfying noise when you tick things off, it’s also really handy for me in a morning to get everything I need to do for the day physically written dow instead of it being stuck in my head. Also writing down small, easy tasks can help me to feel more productive with my day even if the task is just making lunch or having a shower.
Google Calendar is also my saviour. Super easy to use and makes everything all organised. My friends and I even have our calendars synced, which helps organising plans with them so much easier
Not sure if this is of any use either but I also keep a spending diary so I can stay on top of my finances. I find it’s really helpful for me to physically write that down in a diary and at the end of every week work out how much money can get put into my savings. Staying on top of it all is the key!

🗂Life is meant to be lived and I wouldn’t get to do so much if I was constantly trying to keep track of my schedule, where my tools are, what I have to do… Every object I own has a designated home. I know where everything is without guessing. My process is undisrupted. My digital workspace is the same. Notion is my second home.

❌Sometimes I talk to my family or my coworkers or I hear an influencer online say “I’m just a girl hahaha” and I am like oh my godddd how can you still think like “blue means boy pink means girl” !!! And this literally affects their view on everything!!! What do you mean you think female dogs are “more drama” than male dogs!! They’re dogs!!! Get me out of here!!!!

finally using my portable CD player again to listen to my favorite album that isn't on any streaming services anymore!! it's so fun to have physical copies of media I like, and it was great to not use my phone for once (though the CD would pause every time I accidentally bumped into the player while I was walking to class; it was kind of charming but also pretty annoying).
