New materials, instruments, software or objects often aren’t the solution for inspiration. Creativity is stoked by limits — work with what you’ve got, and don’t let consumer culture tell you shit about what you need. When you’re not overwhelmed with new, expansive (and expensive!) inputs, the outputs abound.
Anyway, I’ve had this orb lamp and glass fixture cover for a long time, just realized I can put them together. New lamp! Looks like a pearl! Yes, it has a duct tape roll at the base!
