Very surreal viewing experience with myself and one dude being the only solitary perverts in our small theater packed to the gills with people—couples, pairs of women, and a front row of college aged girls having a ladies’ night. They were talking so loudly that people had to yell at them to shut up. (After the movie I heard one of them say “I think it was straight middle aged freaky not actually freaky. She’s a straight middle aged woman in power who wants to be dominated by the man and that’s the only thing. And she was a terrible person the entire time!”) I was blushing furiously the whole time and shrinking into my seat and my jaw definitely dropped multiple times. Very cerebral and psychosexually loaded movie that deals primarily in restraint to explore control vs vulnerability…

Vincent gallo lore

i watched Buffalo 66 and was drawn in by it’s toxic magnetic pull, as any girl who lived through 2013-2020 internet life/tumblr/bad relationships would. It artistically unveiled many issues young girls run into and can relate to, even though it was all about a man. This film felt like if David Lynch was in his 20s in the late 90s, just got out of art school, and made his first film. So Eraserhead-esque…. Lady in the Radiator ily!!! Billy being canonically italian made a lot of his actions make more sense to me, you’ll get this if you’ve seen saturday night fever, idk just work with me here. I really can’t stop thinking about this film. Anyways, i’d love to know your thoughts on the vincent gallo internet lore which my friend so courageously lived through. She even got a dm! what an odd man.
