From their album When The Storms Would Come.
The album held a special place in my young adult self back then. But I especially love the build up and release of the guitar solo in this song, like, *hell yeah*. Hits right every time I listen to it

This song is a nice little bop but this guitar bit at the end fully sold me. I was stoned the first time I heard it too, off on a sunny walk in my neighborhood, and it all just came together in a perfect little moment.

this song wow I love and hate when it comes on. my boyfriend bought me Exile on Mainstreet on vinyl and this song was playing the first time I told him I love him <333 happy tears. but I remember feeling so scared in the moment, and giving in to the drug of love and just saying it. something about the “end of the world, fade to black” sound of this track makes me go back into that moment and feel that high.

I love this song sm. Rock n roll love confession. A classic for me. There’s never a lull, with the timing of the back up vocals and guitar licks and the lyrics feel so pronounced they’re unavoidable. No wonder he inspired Elliot Smith. Feels like a 70‘s summer.

I’m here in the moment with you bro, it’s fleeting, elusive, stay with me before it’s gone

No, it’s not a looming breakdown. *I’m forecasting, I’m emotional project managing, I’m curating*

Sent to two friends, one who got me the shirt and the other the necklace. But also I’ve been feeling down lately and I like my face in this one, *so*
(my hair is clipped up, it’s actually down to my lower back, but I’m feeling more confident in myself if I ever go shorter again!)
