my local amc is a literal dumpster, but it is a joy to be able to see even the stupidest movies with my friends just for laughs because I’m ’not really paying for them‘, which is - of course - not true, but it feels true and that’s the magic of stubs.

I don’t know how to explain it. We will look back at this time and wonder how one could pay $20 bucks a months to watch 3 movies in DOLBY OR IMAX every single week.

I literally know I am not getting my moneys worth with this but someone else probably would. It’s $25 a month and you can see three movies a week and you get discounts on popcorn? It’s frickin epic beyond. I just need to go to the movies more

I’m sure you’ve seen it, but if it’s been awhile (it had been for me) I recommend a re-watch. My mom‘s husband had been politicking for its election as our annual x-mas watch for years and I was finally out-voted in its favor this year; I can admit I was wrong. I was near to sobbing by the end and its old-timey-ness did not detract from the incredible writing, pacing, and understanding of the human condition, rendering it - actually - time*less*.
