🖼my second favorite photo and repurposed social app…a small group of long distance friends and i make our own yearly albums of photos and everytime we get a notification that “[friend] has added photos to 2024”, we flock to the album and immediately celebrate the drop with hearts & funny comments and marvel at each other’s comps and colors. it’s pure chaos and definitely not what the app was probably intended for, but it is one of my favorite phone notifications ever.

go get magazines or books from the thrift store and make some art. functional sometimes even,,??!?!! this is the lid to a box i will store trinkets in. one of these cut outs is from a magazine i photo copied for a quarter cuz i didnt wanna ruin the original. theres so many possibilities ! ive even used junk mail newspaper ads that usually get thrown away

🗝its so tempting to get a bunch of cheap items from somewhere but since buying a couple long lasting non tarnishing jewelry items and real leather clothes n shoes, wallet and backpack even, i feel like we should go back to the olden days and get things that will last decades on decades
