seconding the app being super slow but i just bookmarked a post and now the little window that comes up to confirm it was saved won’t leave. i waited, tried swiping it away, nothing works unless i leave the app. it’s literally my first time on the app and this with it being super slow makes me not wanna use it 😭

For me the lag occurs every time i try to open a page or a prompt eg. opening lists or drafts, opening a post, pressing back button, switching between notifications/search/profile/home, trying to reply or post anything. I guess basically doing anything haha. I also usually have to tap the like button a couple times before something happens

At first I chalked it up to my phone because I had low storage and she can be slow sometimes. But it's been persistent. More specifically after I hit submit on a comment or share on a post it takes a minute to actually post it and exit that drafting screen.
When I click the buttons at the bottom to switch tabs (from home to notifs or to search) it takes a few seconds between pressing the button and switching the tab.
Also just loading screens in general. If I'm scrolling through friends or everyone it will sometimes not load posts after a certain number of posts. It just scrolls into a black screen. If I wait long enough sometimes it will load the post meant to be there.
I'm not sure what type of information is helpful but I know you said to try to be detailed so this is my experience lately. Not sure if it's like this for everyone.

maybe it’s because i signed up through instagram then downloaded the app but i didn’t get a tutorial so i have no idea how to use the app 😭 i think having a tutorial for those who signed up through instagram (or even having a link to a tutorial page) would be super helpful
