Time and place for this tho. At a college bar, yes! Walking around a city even, sure! public transportation? why not! I was visiting my my grandfather in the hospital earlier this week and the number of male doctors/nurses that gave me a cheeky smile honestly made me kinda sick. Thankfully my gpa is fine and was discharged pretty quickly but it felt kind of weird and dehumanizing to feel so “perceived” in this environment. this doesn’t go for the nurses on the ward as they were helpful and knew the situation. But the number of men in scrubs wandering the halls and cafeterias giving cheeky glances and smiles felt so wrong and tone deaf.
This was going to be an anti-rec about not making out to Beach House with someone you’ve only known three weeks bc you’ll think of them every time you hear Beach House but then I realized that actually life is too short to not make out to Beach House
