So not long time ago i wrote about the fact that i wanna quit smoking, it's been kind of hard however i managed to reduce how many cigs i smoke per day with some simple steps (reducing is better than nothing, a 1% progress is better than 0%) : 1 - No morning Cigarette. 2 - No indoors smoking - only in the balcony even if it's So cold outside. 3 - No more after shower cigarette, i rather do my skin care + put on some lotion in order to smell good, because once i smell good i REFUSE to get dirty with the cig smell. 4 - No more smoking while walking (for example when i am going to work, or on my way to a coffeeshop) . 5 - When in the coffeeshop i used to smoke 4 cigs per hour, i reduced that to 3. 6 - Reduce my smoke breaks at work. 7 - i apply hand cream to be able to keep my hands clean and avoid to get them smelly with the smoke cigs when i have the little craving, that i way i can "postpone" the smoke break for after. 8 - if the pack is finished during the day then i avoid to buy one until the next day. 9 - i avoid smoking cigs in the car (no matter how long the road). 10 - Buying one pack for two days instead of one. I hope with these small steps i will be able to reduce it to the point where i will quit smoking forever ^^

It’s been 8 months since my last smoke, the longest I’ve gone in 12 years.  Some unconventional tips: - being delusional is effective. I tell myself cigarettes are bad luck. If I smoke one, something bad will happen. - My relationship to cigarettes was spiritual, every single one was a little prayer. To fill the gap, I leaned into woo: candles, tarot, talking to god. - Cigs were my edge, but they numbed me. To keep that rebellion alive, I leaned into things that scared me: fashion choices, challenging long held values, leaning into my queerness, wasting time.  - Somatic release. Shake your leg, wring your hands, go to the gym. Also, going to the gym gets a lot easier when you make the conscious choice to not hate on the bros or influencers.. everyone’s trying to find their place. Love > Snark - It only gets easier if you know exactly WHY you want to smoke in the first place, and address the root causes with mindset or lifestyle changes. Quitting cold turkey without change is not enough. Tag: nicotine quit smoking

I'm at a point in my life where many of my peers will say that they intend to quit someday, but just not yet. Besides the most obvious reasons for giving up nicotine and tobacco, here are some of the short-term benefits I've found since my hiatus. - Exercising self-control - better lung capacity - getting rid of the smell that sticks to your clothes - no nic-shits - less nausea - better appetite - far less frequent cravings In short, you don't have to give up going outdoors to chat with your smoking friends, but you can find autonomy in choosing your battles wisely—Or not, its really up to you.

I can’t find the Creator and i am mad about it because i wanna credit the one who made sure to put this for free. I’ve found this website RetroPrint where they show the details of how you can make a Windows 95 customised theme on your phone (with over 800 icons app to choose from 27 of them are already made for the modern apps like netflix twitter etc - some graphics for the widgets too And 3 sounds.)

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.

If there is one style that literally calms me is stippling. The endless dots, the slow process, the nuance effect, the final results. I just love it and appreciate it even more when i spend hours/days to finish one.
