can we bring back this form of media that has some sort of substance to it?! i was too young for the millennial blogspot boom and too old to gaf about insta so tumblr was my destined platform (long rip). but i want to experience the blogspot type of thing i missed out on and having the ability to write and actually make my own stuff, not just reblog aesthetic shit. i can go to pinterest for that. im gonna start one even if no one reads it. i’ll link it i guess. here’s the link (i can’t change the website link in my profile T.T) a-space-for-me.com it’s kinda bland rn but i’m new to wordpress lol

i want total customisation! i want indulgence and excess within the confines of limited html knowledge! this is close, tumblrs closer, and twitter kpop stans with carrds and dni lists are really getting there, i guess. i feel like this kind of self expression on the internet was so brief but so so wonderful, and honestly really important now with an almost complete lack of individuality in so many aspects of ones online presence new year’s resolution is to make my own website

i’ve tentatively dipped my toes into the tumblr pond a few times over the years but i have decided to actually commit to curating a blog… tumblr actually has quite a fantastic format, comparable to facebook but less evil. idk i think it works rlly well and i’m kind of keen for it to become more widely used and popular
